This morning I was curious to share the discovery I’ve been making over the past few weeks.

And then later in the morning a friend of mine (Patrick, thank you!) sent me this photo from a book he picked up yesterday Warrior of the Light by Paulo Coelho:

Which perfectly describes the various puzzle pieces 🧩 that have been clicking for me as well.
Most of our lives our focus has been on looking for what is wrong in our lives, and then putting all of our focus and energy on attempting to change it.
But for some reason… things just don’t change, or they change and then return right back, or they change and we realize that we don’t feel any different anyway.
So what’s really been clicking for me is the shift we REALLY need to be making:
Going from attempting to change circumstance to focusing on uncovering why it is there and what it’s trying to bring your attention towards, AND dissolving any friction you may have with it being there.
That friction with things being the way they are… it’s the major cause not only of our suffering, loss of power, discouragement and disappointment – but is the very thing the circumstance is attempting to show you by being there in the first place!
That shift – from attempting to change what is, to discovering and dissolving friction with the way things are – is the very premise of the entire Unpressured paradigm that makes lasting shifts possible.
If what we resist persists, then dissolving the resistance is what would allow things to change, naturally.
I call this concept FuelShift – going from feeling the pressure to change circumstance, to focusing on dissolving friction with what is, and allowing natural drive, movement, and momentum to arise on its own… while we sit back and relax into the present moment.
